The design of this Lamy Dialog fountain is awesome! By twisting the barrel of the pen, the iconically shaped Lamy nib extends and retracts from the pen, removing the need for a cap! The mechanism works very smoothly. The “trap door” that covers the nib when it is retracted is present and operates correctly.
The pen is a cartridge converter filler and will be supplied with a Lamy blue ink cartridge.
The nib is 14k fine bi colour gold nib, and writes smoothly.
The pen is approximately 13.7cms long and is quite heavy - it is made of metal.
The pen is pre-loved and has signs of use but is in overall very good condition.
