This Conway Stewart Duo fountain pen is a nice homage to vintage pens. This is a limited edition pen so has some rarity, and the model and number are imprinted on the barrel.
It is flat top in design, with a wonderful vintage clip design. The cap band is hallmarked 18ct gold, and the colour way resembles a tortoiseshell brown/orange black effect, with a contrasting black section, cap and barrel finials and cap lip.
The pen is a cartridge converter filler, and comes with a converter for use with bottled ink.
The nib is an 18k gold medium nib, engraved as such on the nib.
As is typical with CS pens, the Euro is supplied in a large inner diamond shaped box, and a large rectangular cardboard box, both in black with “Conway Stewart” embossed in a bold gold colour. There is also a Conway Stewart postcard and Certificate of Authenticity.
